Veterans Home Facility In Mohave County

District 5 Senator Sonny Borrelli and Representative Leo Biasiucci are pushing legislation seeking funding for a Veterans home facility in Mohave County.

SB 1112 proposes that the state provide 35% and the Federal Government 65% of the funding to construct the facility. Once built, the Federal Government would operate the Veteran's home.

Borrelli says securing a land donation is also important and that the donation might decide whether the Veterans home would be built in Kingman, Lake Havasu or Bullhead City.
